Shipping
Clothing ships flat rate. $6.99 for a US order, whether it holds one piece or six. It is added to your payment at checkout when you ask for the order to be shipped.
Everything else is calculated. Furniture, decor, glassware, jewelry and the rest ship at rates built from the piece's weight and dimensions, so a heavy dresser is priced by what it really costs to move rather than a flat number. We confirm the exact amount with you before the piece ships.
Local pickup or meet-up. Choose it at checkout instead of shipping and no shipping charge is added. We email you straight after to arrange a time and a place, at the shop or somewhere that suits you.
Auction lots. Every sale states its own delivery terms: pickup at the estate, or mail delivery where that sale offers it.
Clothing shipping is collected at checkout when you choose to have the order shipped. Everything else is settled after it: pickup or a meet-up, or we confirm the shipping cost with you before anything leaves.
Payment options
Online. Check out on our secure checkout page and pay by credit or debit card, or with Apple Pay and the other options shown there. Your card details go straight to the payment processor; the shop never sees or stores them.
In the shop. Cash and major credit cards are accepted at the counter.
What is charged when. The price of the piece is taken at checkout, and clothing shipping is added then too if you asked for the order to be shipped. Choose local pickup or meet-up and no shipping charge is added. For everything else, shipping is settled after the sale, once we confirm the cost with you.
Auction lots. Winning bidders are emailed after the sale closes with the payment and pickup details for their lots.
Returns: Final Sale with Select Exceptions
The rule. All sales are final and every piece is sold as-is. Our finds are vintage and antique, so age marks, patina and honest wear are part of the piece rather than a defect.
The buyer protection. You get a full refund or a return when an item is grossly misrepresented: a major stain or tear we missed, or a piece that is not what was listed.
Tell us as soon as the piece arrives and send photos of what you received, and we will make it right.
